@Lilletale what does that mean, exactly? :-) I am already using Facebook as a linking outlet mostly. The content of the site's pages never come on Facebook in full, only excerpts

@amydentata how large a number? And do you know what types of yelling works? I can't exactly call on a mob of people to report a post in this case. Is there any formal way to let more people than just me oppose the decision that will make their number easily show?

Hi Mastodon,
It seems my blog / site about mostly transgender content has been marked as NSFW / adult material by Facebook, and boosting posts on it's corresponding Facebookpage is no longer possible.
Does anyone here have experience with something similar? How am I supposed to deal with it? Already did some articles on Mastodon, but the main target audience stays on Facebook, (no surprise,) so what then? Am I just fucked? There is no actual "adult material" anywhere on the site btw.

I spent this weekend at code camp - or rather, a feminist camp for women in tech (with more). It's another cool thing we do in DO:TOPIA apart from running this instance and so much else.

If you feel like reading about cyberfeminists getting together in Denmark, some thoughts about finding community and an outlet for frustrations over microaggressions in the IT sector, and memes. Read @nynne's scrapbook (with photos!):

Just restarted the instance because we need that for . I don't know why it was giving timeouts, but i tried turning it off and turning it on again and now it worx mastodon.dotopia.dk/media/hWvH

@Gargron damn. Already? But I just got a new job!

@transscribe Yeah, I don't know what the deal is with Copenhagen. Either there's a secret trans girl club somewhere that nobody ever bothered to tell me about or this city is just weird. I keep hearing this from other places. Trans femmes being more visible and more networked.

@Raelynn unfortunately it doesn't seem like a lot of trans folks residing in Denmark use mastodon yet. If you find any, feel free to send them my way! Been meeting trans femmes through Tumblr and OkCupid, lol. And not as many as I would've liked to.

@Raelynn I believe you! I really do get surprised every once in a while. It just happens so rarely.

@Raelynn Thanks. I'll definitely keep that in mind. Seems like I might already running the biggest masto instance based in my country (Denmark). I could be wrong and have missed one, of course. So would be really nice if those trans femmes who have been invisible to me thus far would start bumping into me ~

@memnus Yeah. Misogynist transmasc folks are shit and should know better. There's a few of them around these parts, but they rarely end up in my part of town. It's more the transmasc folks who are cool with benefiting from transmisogyny or those who are just flat out oblivious to other struggles than their own who cause me trouble.

Thing is, though. I removed myself from that part of the community a while ago. Cissexist white feminists are my real heartache tonight. Genitalia-talk iykwim

@transscribe Not trying to imply trans masc folks have cis privilege here, of course. There's a world of difference in many other ways. Hopefully you understand. Guess what I really wanted to say is, thanks for the offer, but I don't think it's your fault really. Just be nice to trans femmes in your area and I'll be happy for all of you 😉
